VERDICT

Can you get a great sound quality and comfortable wireless listening experience without paying too much money? Yes, if you decide to purchase the Avantree Audition deep bass Bluetooth Over Ear Headphones. These headphones provide with a problem-free listening experience and a great versatility.

Comfortable Bluetooth headphones are always in high demand. Comfortable portable audio listening is not an easy thing to achieve, which is especially true if you don’t want to spend too much money. The Avantree Audition deep bass Bluetooth Over Ear Headphones combine the latest Bluetooth technology with an optional audio line input. Will these headphones live up to our expectation, or will they fall short in one or several critical aspects? Read more to find out the answer.

Design and build quality

The Avantree deep bass headphones are available in a black and brown and a black and orange version. Both models are made to last, with a generous use of reinforced metal parts and soft leather padding. No matter how much you try to twist and squeeze the frame, you won’t be able to find any “give” to it. These headphones are made for daily use, and the manufacturer doesn’t want to make you feel like you need to pamper them.

The earcups are deliciously soft, but the leather can get quite hot after just a few minutes. However, you can easily replace the earpads; you just have to find the right ones that will fit.

The main feature, the Bluetooth pairing, is executed flawlessly. Each time we tried it, the headphones connected instantly with our smartphone, and the connection remained strong during our testing. What’s more, the Avantree Audition come with a built-in NFC chip that allows you to connect to your smartphone by just placing the headphones near it.

The battery lasts around 40 hours of play time and 20 days of standby time, thanks to the latest version of the Bluetooth technology. You can also connect to 2 devices simultaneously for shared listening experience with your friend or significant other.

If you ever happen to find yourself without enough battery power, you can simply use the additional audio line input to connect the headphones directly to your device.

Sound quality

The sound quality of the Avantree Wireless Bluetooth Headphones makes you forget that you are dealing with a pair of Bluetooth headphones. The mids are placed nicely forward, making these headphones perfect for hip-hop and rock. Highs have enough clarity that you occasionally notice a new detailed that you’ve never registered before.

The bass carries with it a certain sense of confidence, which makes bass-heavy music sound divine. It’s not that the bass is so precise or clean, but rather that the headphones are not afraid to put everything they have into each drum hit.

What’s in the box?

Apart from the headphones themselves, the packaging also contains a micro USB charging cable, 3.5mm audio cable, warranty card, and a short user manual.
